AOSD Technology for Application-level Security

(AOSDSEC)

AOSD 2004 Workshop, March 23, Lancaster, UK

Format

The workshop will be structured to encourage fruitful discussions and build connections between workshop participants. To this end, approximately half of the workshop time will be devoted to presentations of papers. The organizers have selected a subset of the papers for presentation such that the presentation time per paper is not too limited and in such a way that a good coverage of the broad research area of AOSD and security is achieved.

The remaining half of the time is devoted to semi-structured discussion groups. To this end, the organizers will suggest (and present) a number of discussion topics that can be addressed. Four topics will be discussed: specific AOP support for security, full lifecycle support for security, AOSD and security in industry, and security implications of AOSD. Each discussion session will address two topics in parallel. Participants are free to choose which discussion topic to join. Results of the discussions will be presented plenary at the end of the workshop.

Participants are expected to read the accepted papers prior to the workshop, to ensure focused discussions (see the papers section).
