ACP4IS.09 Organizers

Eric Wohlstadter University of British Columbia
is an assistant professor at the University of British Columbia. His research interests are in the areas of aspect-oriented programming, web services, object-oriented frameworks, and component-based software development. Eric was a co-organizer of the ACP4IS 2006 workshop. Eric was also the organizing chair for AOSD 2007 and is a member of the AOSD 2008 Program Committee.
Daniel Lohmann Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany
is a PhD student and member of the research staff at the Distributed Systems and Operating Systems group, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. Before joining Friedrich-Alexander University he worked as a software developer, consultant and IT trainer for several years. His PhD topic is on the design and development of aspect-oriented operating system product-lines. His current research activities are focused on the combination of Generic and Generative Programming with AOP in AspectC++, and on applying these techniques in the implementation of CiAO, an AUTOSAR conformant research operating system product line for automotive applications. Daniel co-organized the MMB 2006 workshop on Non-Functional Properties of Embedded Systems.
Chris Matthews University of Victoria, Canada
Chris Matthews is a PhD student at the University of Victoria. His research interests include systems structure, virtualization, compilers and concurrency. In the past, he worked on a framework for building objects that scale on multiprocessors, and on a language and compiler for using aspect oriented concepts in the C programming language. His current research involves tackling the communication and programming problems introduced by system virtualization when it is used as an isolation mechanism.
