Accommodation

A special rate of $179 per night is available at the Sheraton Wall Centre. Additionally, there will be a one time hotel rebate of $100 for regular attendees and $50 for student attendees per room for staying at the conference hotel. By staying at the conference hotel you help AOSD qualify for discounts on room rental and other charges. The rebate provides a way to pass some of those savings back to you. The hotel rebate will be applied to your credit card after we have confirmed your registration at the Sheraton Wall Centre.

Notes:

In order to qualify for the student rate, you must provide proof of your full-time student status in person when you check-in at the conference. The proof can be either your student id card, a confirmation from the dean of your faculty, or confirmation of registration/enrolment, where you are officially registered as a full-time student.
There are additional fees for tutorials and workshops.
There is a $300 rebate when you register for both TSSJS and AOSD.07.

Registration at the main conference is required for workshop attendance.

Additional Proceedings

Additional copies of printed proceedings are available for $40 each. Please note that both regular and student registration includes one soft copy (on CD) of the proceedings on CD.

Payment methods

Payment can be made via a secure online registration form, using either Visa or Master Card. Online registration for AOSD.07 is handled by RegOnline. In case of any problems related to the online payment system please contact registration@aosd.net.

TSSJS Rebate

If you register for both TSSJS and AOSD.07, then you will receive a $300 rebate ($200 from TSSJS, and $100 from AOSD.07). To claim the $200 TSSJS rebate, be sure to register for TSSJS using the code “AOSD”. To claim the $100 AOSD.07 rebate, email a copy of your TSSJS receipt to registration@aosd.net or fax the receipt to 604-822-5485, ATTN: Eric Wohlstadter.

Registration Desk

The conference registration desk will be open throughout the conference and there will be student volunteers and conference organizers at hand to answer any questions including payment queries and what to do in and around Vancouver.
